Install DIY for Hoen Fog Light Replacement
on a 2008-2009 Audi A5

Step 1: Remove trim fascia by pulling from the indentions (red circles) and slowly, but firmly pulling out.

Step 2: Remove retaining screws, being careful to NOT remove or adjust aiming screw. Use a T-27 Torx bit.

Step 3: Remove housing and disconnect electrical connector. I lift the tab with a flat head screw driver and slide the connector out.
Rotate the bulb counter-clockwise to remove. Reinstall new bulb, being careful not to touch the bulb itself.

Step 4 and beyond: Replace housing, and reseat screws and trim fascia with a firm push. It will snap into place

Repeat for other bulb. The result is a whiter bulb that better matches the headlights. See difference below.

The total install took no more than 20 mins, and that’s with takin pics of the install along the way.
